Discover the magic of alcohol markers in this fun and beginner-friendly illustration workshop. In this two-hour creative session, you’ll learn how to blend, layer, and create smooth gradients using Ohuhu alcohol markers while painting your own vibrant mushroom artwork. Whether you're completely new to markers or looking to refine your colouring skills, this class will guide you step-by-step through the essential techniques needed to achieve bold, professional-looking results. You’ll begin by learning the foundations: how alcohol markers behave, how to control streaking, and how to create seamless colour transitions. Through guided blending exercises, you’ll explore light-to-dark layering, two-colour blends, and how to build dimension using simple shading techniques. Once you’ve mastered the basics, you’ll move on to your final piece: a beautifully rendered mushroom illustration. You’ll learn how to create depth in the cap, subtle shadows in the stem, and soft glow effects to make your artwork pop. Optional linework and white gel pen highlights will add the finishing touch.
Expect a relaxed, supportive atmosphere where you can slow down, focus, and enjoy the creative process.
